ARC's newly constructed pole building will have the capability to house 17 more dogs, in addition to the 8 currently used kennels. The new building will also contain another cat/kitten room, grooming/bathing room, office, bathroom, waiting/reception room, isolation area for incoming dogs, cat/dog showroom, storage spaces, laundry room, and kitchen area to prepare animals food and meds.
Although the "shell" of the building is already constructed, it will take more than a year or two and thousands of dollars in donations to complete.
To help ARC with its mission of sheltering and rehoming our community's unloved and homeless animals, please send donations to Animal Resource Center in care of our President:
Linda Bird
301 A Boone Rd
Bloomsburg PA 17815

Thank you!

I love your shelter! I have not even been there but we may be moving to the area and I hope I can offer my time /money to your animals! I am currently the vice president of Peaceable Kingdom in Whitehall Pa :)

I have been to this shelter and was amazed by it. Clean and welcoming. Never knew it was there till I called looking for a dog, which I did adopt. Will do the same thing again. Quiet location with plenty of room for volunteers to exercise, which they were during my visit. I'd recommend this place to anyone, which I already have.

This is a BEAUTIFUL place for rescue dogs and cats. It's CLEAN and the people there are VERY caring loving people. I just can't say enough good and positive things about the shelter and the people who work there. FIVE STAR all the way!!!

A friend of mine bought a sick puppy at the Bloomberg fair about three years ago, I never thought anything of it since he recovered and only has some eye problems now, however when another person who is friends with my girlfriend came into work with the same story just yesterday, I am beginning to think there may be a problem, or a breeder with an inhumane or unhealthy kennel, what do I do?
